Sergio,
Below a few options to give you a sense of coverage and cost. The right fit depends on your goals.
🔎 Your quotes
Below are three quotes that provide a wide range of options. All offer initial benefits of $6,000/month.
💡
Should you shop around? You can—but your quotes will be the same everywhere. Long-term care insurance prices are set by the insurance companies, not by brokers. We offer all the top policies and help you find the best fit.
🧐 My notes
All three options are solid choices, but the right fit depends on your goals.
- Option A: This traditional policy from Mutual of Omaha has the lowest premium at $267/month for life. It provides three years of reimbursement benefits. Premiums are not guaranteed and could increase in the future.
- Option B: This hybrid policy from Nationwide requires payments of $952/month for 10 years and provides six years of cash benefits, offering greater flexibility in how benefits are used. If you never need care, $144,000 is paid to your heirs.
- Option C: This hybrid policy from OneAmerica requires payments of $1,410/month for 10 years and provides lifetime benefits, making it the strongest option for extended care situations such as memory care. If care is never needed, $144,000 is paid to your heirs.
Options B and C can also be structured with different payment schedules, including a single payment, payments over five years, or lifetime premiums.
If you'd like to adjust the monthly benefit amount, we can increase or decrease it, and the premiums and benefits will generally change proportionally.
