LTCi Quotes for Gary

Gary,

Your long-term care insurance quotes are ready.

Please first watch this short video that I made just for you:

🔎 Your quotes

I've provided three traditional LTC insurance quotes, each with initial benefits of $4,500/month.

💡
Should you shop around? You can—but your quotes will be the same everywhere. Long-term care insurance prices are set by the insurance companies, not by brokers. We offer all the top policies and help you find the best fit.

🧐 My notes

All three options use lifetime premiums, meaning premiums are paid each year for as long as the policy remains in force. Premium payments are waived when you begin receiving benefits.

Although insurers may request future rate increases with regulatory approval, newer policies are generally priced more conservatively than many policies issued decades ago.

  • Option A: A Mutual of Omaha policy providing approximately three years of benefits, with an initial monthly benefit of $4,500.
  • Option B: The same Mutual of Omaha policy design as Option A, but with twice the total benefit pool.
  • Option C: A similar policy issued by NGL, offering benefits comparable to Option B at a lower premium.

These options provide a lower monthly benefit than the full projected cost of care. The remaining amount could be covered through personal savings, Social Security income, or other retirement assets. For most people, the goal is not to insure every dollar of potential care costs, but to secure meaningful coverage that protects a substantial portion of their assets and income.

The monthly benefit and premium can also be adjusted. For example, reducing the monthly benefit by 25% would generally reduce the premium by a similar proportion.

👉🏻 Next steps

Schedule time on my calendar to review these options together.

If you don't need a call, complete this longer health pre-screen form (15 minutes). I’ll share your answers with insurers without your name attached to get informal feedback. This helps identify which policy is the best fit and avoids the risk of a formal decline.

Thanks,
Jesse
