LTCi Quotes for Jane and Thomas

Jane and Thomas,

Your long-term care insurance quotes are ready.

First, please watch this short video I made for you:

🔎 Your quotes

For an apples-to-apples comparison, I shared three quotes with a roughly $5,000/month initial benefit.

💡
Should you shop around? You can—but your quotes will be the same everywhere. Long-term care insurance prices are set by the insurance companies, not by brokers. We offer all the top policies and help you find the best fit.

🧐 My notes

These options differ in who is covered, whether benefits are shared, and how benefits are paid.

Option A: This National Guardian Life policy covers Jane alone, so its lower quoted premium is for one applicant. It provides three years of reimbursement benefits, and premiums may increase after five years.

Option B: Like Option A, this National Guardian Life policy reimburses eligible care expenses, but it covers both applicants with three years of benefits for each rather than one individual policy. Premiums may increase after five years.

Option C: Nationwide CareMatters Together covers both applicants with one six-year shared pool and pays benefits as cash indemnity rather than reimbursing eligible expenses. It also includes a $180,000 death benefit for heirs if care is not needed.

Compare these benefits with projected care costs and the personal savings or other income you would want to use toward care.

You can also adjust the benefit amount to fit your budget. For example, reducing the premium by 25% would generally reduce the benefits proportionally.

👉🏻 Next steps

Reply to my email or text with feedback or schedule time on my calendar to review these options together.

Alternatively, complete this longer health pre-screen form (10 minutes) for more clarity on your options. I’ll share your answers with insurers without your name attached to get informal feedback. This helps identify which policy is the best fit and avoids the risk of a formal decline.

Thanks,
Jesse
