CareScout, a new brand from Genworth, is nearing launch, with long-term care insurance now approved in 23 states. Genworth was the Michael Jordan of LTC insurance—the biggest on their stage. Like Mike, they stepped away, and now they’re gearing up for a second act. The new product includes access to a national care network with discounted provider rates. Their launch is expected this year once they reach 30 state approvals.

I attended the Spring National NAPFA Conference in Phoenix to connect with fee-only advisors and learn the latest in the financial planning industry. Along the way, I met some great people, watched Shohei Ohtani hit a dinger, and took my first ride in a self-driving Waymo taxi—so great.
