Katherine,
Your long-term care insurance quotes are ready.
Please watch this short video first:
🔎 Your quotes
Based on your surgery, most policies require a 6–12 month waiting period before you can apply, assuming a full recovery with no lingering symptoms or complications, except for the option I highlighted below. If you're comfortable making a one-time lump sum payment, this policy is available now and offers strong benefits.
🧐 My notes
I shared these three options to give you a broad overview of what’s available in today’s long-term care insurance market.
- Option A: Mutual of Omaha allows you to spread payments out over your lifetime with lower ongoing premiums.
- Option B: Nationwide CareMatters includes a refund to your heirs if you never need care.
- Option C: Nationwide CareMatters Annuity requires a larger up-front payment, but provides substantially higher total benefits along with a larger refund to your heirs if care is never needed.
If you'd like to increase or decrease your benefits, we can adjust the premium accordingly. Your benefits would change proportionally (for example, by 25%).
👉🏻 Next steps
Schedule time on my calendar to review these options together.
If you don't need a call, complete this longer health pre-screen form (15 minutes). I’ll share your answers with insurers without your name attached to get informal feedback. This helps identify which policy is the best fit and avoids the risk of a formal decline.
Thanks,
Jesse
