Revised LTCi Quotes for Linda

Linda,

Your revised long-term care insurance quotes are ready.

First, please watch this new short video I made for you:

๐Ÿ” Revised quotes

I've provided quotes with an initial benefit of $5,000/month for an apples-to-apples comparison. For this round, I added multiple payment options and added options C and E with 0% benefit growth.

Should you shop around? You canโ€”but your quotes will be the same everywhere. Long-term care insurance prices are set by the insurance companies, not by brokers. We offer all the top policies and help you find the best fit.

๐Ÿง My notes

All three options are strong, each with different costs and benefits.

Option A: This policy from NGL offers the lowest premium. It does not include a death benefit for your heirs, and premiums can increase after five years, although increases are uncommon.

Option B: This policy from OneAmerica has a higher premium than Option A, but it provides lifetime benefits and a $120,000 death benefit for your heirs if you never need long-term care.

Option C: The same as option B, but 0% benefit growth and lower cost.

Option D: This policy from Nationwide has a higher premium, but premiums are fully paid after 10 years and it includes a larger death benefit.

Option E: The same as option D, but 0% benefit growth and lower cost.

All policies provide annual benefits that are lower than the cost of care in Massachusetts. Most clients plan to cover any remaining costs with personal savings, Social Security, or other assets. The goal is typically meaningful protection rather than covering every dollar of future care.

If you'd like more or less coverage, we can adjust the premium accordingly. Your benefits will increase or decrease proportionally (for example, by 25%).

Schedule time on my calendar to review these options together.

If you don't need a call, complete this longer health pre-screen form (15 minutes). Iโ€™ll share your answers with insurers without your name attached to get informal feedback. This helps identify which policy is the best fit and avoids the risk of a formal decline.

Thanks,
Jesse
