I’ve put together two quotes for policies where you’d have a strong chance of being approved.

Should you shop around? You can—but your quotes will be the same everywhere. Long-term care insurance prices are set by the insurance companies, not by brokers. We offer all the top policies and help you find the best fit.

🧐 My notes

Both options help cover long-term care, but they take different approaches.

  • Option A (EquiTrust Bridge):
This option offers higher potential benefits for long-term care and more opportunity for your money to grow. The tradeoff is that some parts depend on time and performance. Benefits take a few years to fully phase in, and the growth on your money isn’t guaranteed.
  • Option B (Nationwide CareMatters):
This option is more predictable and straightforward. Your money grows at a guaranteed 3%, and you have full access to your benefits right away. The tradeoff is that the total benefits are a bit lower.

I can walk you through which one makes more sense depending on whether you prefer more potential upside or more certainty.
