Terry,
Your long-term care insurance quotes are ready.
First, please watch this short video I made for you:
🔎 Your quotes
NGL and Nationwide offer $6,000/mo initial benefits for three years. Securian and OneAmerica offer higher long-term care and death benefits.
🧐 My notes
These quotes compare different coverage levels and payment schedules, with 3% annual benefit growth for every option.
Option A: NGL has the lowest monthly premium and reimburses eligible care expenses for three years. Like Option B, it starts at $6,000 per month, but it has no benefit for heirs. Premiums are payable for your lifetime and may increase after the first five years.
Option B: Nationwide provides similar three-year coverage to Option A, with benefits in cash and an initial $144,002 death benefit if care is never needed. Its higher monthly premium is guaranteed and payable to age 100. Care benefits reduce the amount left to heirs.
Option C: Securian doubles the starting monthly benefit compared with Options A and B and provides five years of benefits. It also pays cash and offers a higher initial death benefit, $288,000, which is reduced by care benefits. The higher guaranteed monthly premium is paid for 20 years, giving it the shortest payment period here.
Option D: OneAmerica offers lifetime LTC benefits, which can be especially valuable for a long memory-care claim, along with the highest death benefit. You could instead choose a five-year benefit period to reduce the premium modestly.
Most policies offer several payment schedules. Below is one annual-payment example for Option D (OneAmerica). A “5-pay” schedule means five annual payments. Monthly payments are also available, at slightly more than one-twelfth of the annual premium.

Compare these benefits with projected care costs and the personal savings or other income you would want to use toward care.
You can also adjust the benefit amount to fit your budget. For example, reducing the premium by 25% would generally reduce the benefits proportionally.
👉🏻 Next steps
Reply to my email or text with feedback or schedule time on my calendar to review these options together.
Alternatively, complete this longer health pre-screen form (10 minutes) for more clarity on your options. I’ll share your answers with insurers without your name attached to get informal feedback. This helps identify which policy is the best fit and avoids the risk of a formal decline.
Thanks,
Jesse
