LTCi Quotes for Shaobing and Tommy

Shaobing and Tommy,

Your long-term care insurance quotes are ready.

First, please watch this short video I made for you:

🔎 Your quotes

I've provided quotes with the same initial benefit to make an apples-to-apples comparison.

💡
Should you shop around? You can—but your quotes will be the same everywhere. Long-term care insurance prices are set by the insurance companies, not by brokers. We offer all the top policies and help you find the best fit.

🧐 My notes

These choices use the same starting monthly benefit but take different approaches to coverage.

Shaobing only

Option A: Nationwide CareMatters II covers Shaobing alone and pays benefits in cash. Nationwide offers multiple payment options (pay once, over 5 years, 10 years, etc).

Option B: NGL offers the lowest monthly cost. Benefits are paid as reimbursement and can increase, but NGL has never raised premiums on existing policyholders.

Tommy only

Option C and D: These are the same policies as A and B, but for Tommy.

Joint

Option E: This is the same NGL policy, but a joint policy for both of you.

Option F: This is a similar Nationwide policy, but you share six years of benefits and premiums stop while either of you are receiving benefits.

Compare these benefits with projected care costs and the personal savings or other income you would want to use toward care.

📍
Cost tool → Compare current and projected costs for home care, assisted living, and more in Massachusetts and elsewhere.

You can also adjust the benefit amount to fit your budget. For example, reducing the premium by 25% would generally reduce the benefits proportionally.

👉🏻 Next steps

Reply to my email or text with feedback or schedule time on my calendar to review these options together.

Alternatively, complete this longer health pre-screen form (10 minutes) for more clarity on your options. I’ll share your answers with insurers without your name attached to get informal feedback. This helps identify which policy is the best fit and avoids the risk of a formal decline.

Thanks,
Jesse
