Should you shop around? You canโ€”but your quotes will be the same everywhere. Long-term care insurance prices are set by the insurance companies, not by brokers. We offer all the top policies and help you find the best fit.

๐Ÿง My notes

Hybrid long-term care policies like Securian SecureCare IV allow you to use the $25,000 of cash value from your life insurance policy through a 1035 exchange.

These three quotes all include a $5,000/monthly initial benefit. In Florida, current care costs are more than $5,000/month, but many people bridge the difference using Social Security and personal savings. The goal is typically meaningful protection, not covering every dollar of future expenses.

If you'd like more or less coverage, we can adjust your premium and benefits will increase or decrease proportionally (for example, by about 25%).

Do you have a preference for a 4-, 6-, or 8-year benefit period? Once we narrow that down, I'll review other carriers to see if any offer a more competitive option.

Schedule time on my calendar to review these options together.

If you don't need a call, complete this longer health pre-screen form (15 minutes). Iโ€™ll share your answers with Securian and other insurers without your name attached to get informal feedback. This helps identify which policy is the best fit and avoids the risk of a formal decline. Your short pre-screen looked good, but it's always good to complete the longer one as well and get insurer feedback.

Thanks,
Jesse
