On this page

Eleanor,

I'm pleased to share three top LTC insurance quotes, carefully chosen based on your age, state, preferences, and current rates.

Why people choose LTC insurance:

❤️ Your family shouldn’t have to become full-time caregivers
💰 Your savings deserve protection from care costs
🧠 Stay in control — at home or the best facility

🤝
If anything’s unclear, feel free to book a time below.

Early quotes

I set each policy to a lifetime payment option at a combined $7,000 per year to make the benefits easy to compare. Other payment options are included and can be adjusted to fit your budget.

💡
These early quotes are rounded to simplify side-by-side comparisons. Once you’ve chosen a direction, we’ll generate precise figures. Final pricing is standardized by the insurer and reflects your health details.

Graph of benefits

This graph shows how your benefits would compare to expected LTC costs in your state if you needed care at age 80. Click any policy name or line for more detail.

My notes

Based on your preferences (Yes to memory care and No to refunds), I included two policies with longer benefits to help cover memory care without refunds, plus a third with a refund for comparison. The Thrivent policy includes a shared care rider—if one partner uses up their benefits, they can draw from the other’s. The NGL policy adds a third, shared pool of benefits once either partner exhausts their own. See the policy review links in the table for details.

Big picture: As you review these, think about what matters more—lower-cost benefits for typical care, longer coverage for memory care, or a refund (life insurance) if you never need care. Once you’ve got a direction, I’ll send more fine-tuned quotes to fit.

Benefit growth options
Since you’re young, 5% benefit growth—rather than the typical 3% used in these policies—can sometimes offer higher monthly benefits by your 80s, when care is most often needed. As a next step, we can review a side-by-side graph to compare both options.

LTC costs in Maryland
Your benefits are below projected LTC costs—but that doesn’t mean you’ll pay the difference out of pocket. Assisted living often includes housing and meals, replacing everyday expenses. Other income, like Social Security, or assets can help bridge the gap.
