Denise and Guy,
I'm pleased to offer three long-term care insurance (LTCi) quotes that provide meaningful coverage.
Comparison table
✨ All policies include:
- Flexible care: at home or in a facility
- Adjustable premium and benefit options
- Starting benefits when you qualify for LTC

Graph of benefits
This graph shows how your benefits would compare to expected LTC costs if you needed care at age 80. Click any policy name or line for more detail.
My thoughts
I chose these policies based on your preferences:
Memory care: Unsure
With Alzheimer’s, care often lasts 8+ years—much longer than average. That’s why I included one policy with lifetime benefits for comparison. For Mutual of Omaha, I included a 'shared care' rider where if Partner A exhausts their benefit pool, they can begin using Partner B’s benefits.
Refund: Unsure
I picked two policies that offer a refund (a life insurance payout) if you don’t end up needing long-term care—so your heirs get it as an inheritance. If you do need care, benefits come from that amount first. It’s a nice perk—unlike auto or home insurance, you can get money back if you don’t use it. I also included Mutual of Omaha, which doesn’t offer a refund, so you can compare pricing.
Smaller payments over time: Unsure
Smaller annual payments are easier on the budget but cost more in the long run. I chose three policies with mid-range payment schedules. Most offer both single-pay and lifetime options, which you’ll see in the review links under the premium section. Shortening the payment period will increase your benefits.
The graph shows your benefits are below projected LTC costs—but you don’t have to cover everything. In assisted living, housing and meals are often included, and other income or assets can help. We can also adjust the policy to boost annual benefits by lowering total benefit years.
