Junlei and Karen,
I'm pleased to offer three long-term care insurance (LTCi) quotes that provide meaningful coverage.
Comparison table
✨ All policies include:
- Flexible care: at home or in a facility
- Adjustable premium and benefit options
- Starting benefits when you qualify for LTC

Graph of benefits
This graph shows how your benefits would compare to expected LTC costs if you needed care at age 80. Click any policy name or line for more detail.
My thoughts
“Age 80” in the table and graph refers to the oldest insured (Karen), which is about 8 years from now. The annual and total benefits shown are averages between the two of you, just to simplify comparisons. If you'd prefer to see separate coverage details, I’m happy to break that out later.
I selected these policies and designs based on your age and preferences:
- Memory care (not a priority): Even though this wasn’t a top concern, I included OneAmerica’s lifetime benefit option so you can see how the costs and benefits compare.
- Refund (not sure): Mutual of Omaha doesn’t include a death benefit, while Nationwide and OneAmerica do. The comparison isn’t apples to apples, though—Mutual of Omaha is lifetime pay only, and I showed single-pay options for the others (see below).
- Need smaller payments (not a priority): Because smaller payments aren’t needed, I used single-pay options to maximize benefits. You could also pay over 5 or 10 years with reduced benefits if you prefer.
There are a lot of ways to structure this. If your main goal is the lowest-cost way to cover an average-length LTC event, Mutual of Omaha is the best fit. If you want life insurance built in, Securian is a strong option. And for longer memory care needs, OneAmerica stands out. If you’d like to focus on just one policy, I can show benefit details for each of you with different payment options. I'm happy to help!
