My thoughts
The graph shows your benefits are a little below potential LTC costs—but you don’t need to cover everything. In assisted living, housing and food are often included, and other income or assets can help. If you increase your premiums by 10%, your benefits increase by 10%. If you can pay the $100k in one lump sum instead of over 5 years for the Nationwide or Securian policies, your benefits will also increase significantly.
