Ashley,
Thanks for our call and your feedback! Your revised long-term care (LTC) insurance quotes are ready.
š Revised quotes
I've provided three quotes with the same benefits and 3% annual growth to help your benefits keep pace with rising LTC costs.
š§ My notes
Based on our call, hereās the link to the Medicare/Medicaid article I mentioned, along with notes on your three policy options.
Option A: This National Guardian Life policy is less expensive than the original Mutual of Omaha quote. Premiums are paid for life. While NGL has not raised rates in the past, they reserve the right to do so.
Option B: The same policy as Option A, but payments end after 10 years and are guaranteed not to increase.
Option C: For comparison, Iāve included a similar policy from Thrivent Financial. Premiums are guaranteed for the first 5 of 10 years.
As I mentioned, to apply for insurance through Thrivent, youāll need to select one of the following on your application:
- I am a Christian seeking to live out my faith; or
- I am the spouse of a Christian who seeks to live out his or her faith.
If youād like higher or lower benefits, you can adjust your premium and your benefits change proportionally (for example, by 25%).
šš» Next steps
If any of these quotes meet your goals, please complete this longer health pre-screen. Iāll share it anonymously with insurers to get an informal underwriting decision.
Iām also happy to send policy details or answer any questions you have.

Watch our 7-minute "unboring" video on the features of LTC insurance. That's me in the video.
Thanks,
