I’ve provided three quotes with almost identical benefits at increasing costs, each comparable to your Base option. All include 3% annual growth to help your benefits keep pace with rising long-term care costs.

The benefits for all three options are nearly identical, so I recommend Option A (NGL EssentialLTC) for its lower cost. You can review the policy details here.

NGL will update this policy on December 5, 2025. The changes to costs and benefits will be minor, and you’ll have the option to exchange your policy for the new version within 60 days if you wish. Purchasing now locks in the current rates. When we talk, I can explain the differences.

All three policies feature lifetime premiums, meaning you’ll pay each year for life—but payments stop once you begin receiving care. While insurers can technically raise rates in the future, it’s unlikely. These policies are conservatively priced, and carriers rely on decades of claims data to maintain stable premiums.

Assisted living in New Jersey is projected to cost about $243,000 per year by age 80 (assuming 4% annual inflation). Your policy options provide benefits below that projection, but you can bridge the gap using personal savings and Social Security. The goal for most people is meaningful coverage, not covering every single dollar.

If you’d like higher annual benefits, you can increase your premium proportionally (for example, by 25%).
